"Time to 3. After the release of ftx Germany North immediately OpenLC Europe makes little sense to remove it Because openLC EU indeed Throughout Europe covering, and not just Germany. Correctly, HOWEVER, did openLC EU is no longer needed for the area of Germany North.

Frank, if I understand the translation Correctly, you will need OpenLC Europe as a base. Here in the US, I use Open LC Global and Open North America on top of global base.

This discussion of GTX vs. Obrx is interesting. I own all of the three American packages of GTX for PD3, USA, Canada, and Tropics. I have used the MegaScenery photo scenery in the past. As a former real world pilot (USAF & General Aviation) I like the world below me to look as I remember it looking. MegaScenery by and large does that. HOWEVER, it comes at a cost When taking off and landing, you have a two dimensional world from 800 meters AGL and below.

I have always liked GTX. So, When GTX came out With Their PD3 V3 version of USA and Canada I upgraded. Suddenly, my hometown, a city of 50,000, Disappeared to be Replaced by a scattering of houses. This dismayed me, to say the least. When Orbx came out with Open NA, I bought it (I already had and Global Vector). Amazingly, my hometown reappeared from its hiatus. I have since purely talled the NA regions and run Orbx throughout.

I can not speak for Europe. I have not any experience flying Europe, Either in real or simulation, and I do not own any European scenery addons.
