You’re active in the flight sim community (at least online), keep up with the latest news about MSFS, X-Plane, new add-ons and other developments – and enjoy sharing interesting discoveries with others?
Then we might have just the thing for you!
We’re looking for enthusiastic contributors to join the English-language editorial team of our news portal, flightsim.news. If you’d like to write the occasional short news article and share interesting developments with the community, we’d love to hear from you!
What would you do?
It’s pretty simple:
- You spot an interesting piece of news from the flight sim world.
- You put together the key information in a short news article.
- You publish it on flightsim.news, sharing the news with fellow flight sim enthusiasts.
This could include new add-on releases, updates, announcements, simulator developments or any other exciting news from the flight sim world.
What should you bring to the table?
Above all, enthusiasm! If you can also put your thoughts into words, even better!
How much time would you need to invest?
First things first: This is a voluntary, unpaid role.
You decide for yourself if and when you want to write an article. There are no fixed deadlines and no minimum number of articles. If you’re short on time or simply can’t find anything interesting to write about, that’s absolutely fine.
We’re not looking to churn out as many articles as possible. Our goal is to collect exciting news from a hobby we all love and share it with others.
Why get involved?
Because flight simulation is about more than just flying. The community thrives on new developments, creative add-ons, dedicated developers and people who share their passion with others.
Your contributions can make a real difference to Flusiboard, too! Our homepage automatically displays the latest news from flightsim.news via an RSS feed. So whenever you publish an interesting news article on our portal, you’re also helping to keep the Flusiboard homepage up to date, engaging and interesting for visitors.
That means you’re helping ensure there’s always something new to discover beyond the forum discussions – and giving visitors even more reason to stick around.
Along the way, you can explore your passion for flight simulation in a new way, gain writing experience and play an active part in our community.
Sounds interesting?
Then just get in touch! Simply reply to this thread to let us know you’re interested – you don’t need to have a finished article ready.
We’re happy to welcome anyone who wants to get involved and share our passion for flight simulation through writing.
We look forward to hearing from you! ✈️
By the way: You’re also welcome to send us a private message via our profile.
