Wilco Dassault Falcon 7X

    Hat schon jemand diese Maschine und kann dazu ein paar Erfahrungen posten?

    Also was ich so gehört habe soll die alles Andere als der Bringer sein... Im Moment arbeitet aber auch Mark von Flysimware an einer Falcon, wenn auch einer älteren Bauserie als der durch Wilco umgesetzten...

    Hallo Sascha,

    ja die paar bisherigen, negativen Berichte habe ich auch schon gelesen. Allerdings waren das meist Meinungen die aus vorigen Wilco-Modellen resultieren (so nach dem Motto "Wilco grundsätzlich nicht"). Ich habe nur eine Meinung von jemandem gefunden, der das Teil auch installiert hat. Der sprach von einem sehr framelastigen Modell, das zu Rucklern und Frameeinbrüchen führt.

    Auf der anderen Seite habe ich die Tilt Rotor von Wilco und die funktioniert sehr gut.

    Ich habe auch schon im Netz nach Reviews zu dem Modell gesucht, aber nichts gefunden.

    Also die Tecnam von denen war damals ja schon recht vernünftig, da habe ich ja sogar ein Review zu geschrieben... Aber eine Falcon ist ja schon eine ganz andere Hausnummer, als eine Tecnam...

    Na, ich denke ich werde mit dem Kauf noch etwas abwarten. Vielleicht gibt es ja irgendwann doch noch ein Review.

    Ist vielleicht auch besser so... Ich wäre sehr vorsichtig... Sollte zwischenzeitlich die von Flysimware herauskommen, würde ich sogar (erwartungsbedingt) eher zu der raten, als zu der von Wilco...

    Unfortunately my German is rusted and I am writing in English:(Took German at High School about 35 years ago)

    At this stage I will not buy the Wilco Falcon 7x:

    1. Only a download is available for purchase with no refund
    2. The airplane is incomplete and has many errors and Wilco promised an update on June the 2nd 2016 and up to date it has not been released.

    Errors that I found on the Wilco Falcon 7x:
    1. VOR2 is showing the beacon direction to the opposite direction of the beacon so if the beacon is at 360 deg the VOR2 needle will show the direction of the beacon as 180 deg with the DME not working.

    2. When intercepting the loc with the APP button on in the autopilot on VOR1 the aircraft will turn 360 degrees away from the runway. Then it will follow the ILS into the opposite direction away from the runway.The center line of the runway does not show when in LOC mode the needle only shows the ILS direction.

    3. Aircraft can not descend under 5000ft with the autopilot on. The ALT setting in the auto pilot does not want to set below 5000ft.

    4. Does not keep speed when the speed hold button in the auto pilot is engaged.

    5. Autopilot does not keep altitude when set on eg. FL250 the aircraft will go up about 2000ft above FL250 but will also descend below FL250 sometimes as low as FL220. Aircraft is unstable and will go up and down with warning messages saying "altitude" and "warning" constantly .

    Just to report a few major problems.

    Hope this help before buying this piece of crap.

    many thanks for your report.
    I think it needs still a few weeks (or months?) to take the model works reasonably (if at all).
    Too pity that Wilco has confirmed its bad reputation in the scene once again.

    Update

    V1.1 was just released and after 10 min into the flight my Flightsim crashed.

    More errors than the
    initial
    release.

    So, ich habe mir die WILCO Falcon nun doch gegönnt. Bei mir funktioniet alles und es gibt wirklich vieles in diesem Glas-Cockpit zu entdecken.

    Nur eine Sache stört mich.
    Ich bekomme ständig ein Master Warning mit dem Hinweis "below cruise alt". Das sowohl optisch auf dem MFD als auch akustisch. Es ist mir noch nicht gelugen, diese Meldung wegzubekommen. Ich kann an "Cruise ALT." einstellen was ich will, die Warnmeldung verschwindet nicht. Auch in den Handbüchern habe ich nichts dazu gefunden.

    Daher meine Frage: Hat noch jemand diesen Vorgel und hat das gleiche Problem oder kann mir sagen, was ich tun muss, um die Meldung zu erlöschen zu bringen
