    Die Bell 412 ist das direkte Nachfolgemodell der Bell UH-1 Iroquois bekannter als Huey. Die Bell 412 wurde exzellent für den X-Plane übersetzt, da kommt die Nimbus Huey nicht gegen an, aber das ist nur meine Meinung.

    Die Antonow An-2 ist ein russisches STOL-Mehrzweckflugzeug und mit über 18 m Spannweite der größte im Einsatz befindliche einmotorige Doppeldecker der Welt. Mit ihrer großen Flügelfläche ist die An-2 für Langsamflug und extrem kurze Start- und Landerollstrecken ausgelegt; das Fahrwerk erlaubt Starten und Landen auf unbefestigten Flächen.

    Dort, auf Kreta war ich letztes mal 2019, mit meiner Frau im Jeep tagelang quer über die Insel gebrettert, über die Berge und Täler, Olivenbäume ohne Ende , Azur blauer Himmel, tiefblaues kristallklares Wasser, ein Paradies, so viele nette Menschen kenngelernt, ...irgendwie werde ich das Gefühl nicht mehr los, dass ich da so schnell nicht wieder hinkomme.

    Landung bei schönstem Wetter in Athen 24L.
    Nach dem Letzen Update hatte ich leichte Schwierigkeiten den Throttel auf neutral zu stellen, vielleicht lag es auch an mir.

    Robinson R66.
    Die R66 wird NICHT von einem Kolbenmotor, wie die R22 und die R44 angetrieben, sondern von einer Turbine, die weniger Gewicht aufweist als die in Robinson üblich eingesetzten Lycoming-Motoren.

    ...und deutlich mehr Leistung! ^^ Muss ja auch mal gesagt werden...
    Bin 2019 mit einer R66 mitgeflogen, das Ding kann man nicht mit der R44 vergleichen...

    Hab ich mich doch komplett verflogen, naja war ich schon mal da, habe ich auch gleich mal den Landeplatz von der Apollo 11 (Eagle) Mission besucht. Ein kleines 2 Liter Rettungs-Sauerstofffläschen und eine Taucherbrille vom Letzen Urlaub hatte ich noch zufällig an Board.
    Leider habe ich an der Landestelle der Eagle fast nichts mehr gefunden. Mit Sicherheit von Mondmenschen oder englischen Pyramidenplünderer weggeschafft, man weiß es nicht. Ein Stückchen Goldfolie vom Eagle-Landegerüst und eine leere Pfandwasserflasche, sowie ein alter ausgetrockneter Bürger und was sonst noch das damalige Fernsehkamerateam an Müll zurückließ, fand man noch. Die berühmten Funksprüche, aus einem im Staub liegenden Transistorkofferradio mit hochmodernen Solarstromerzeuger, waren teilweise zu hören.

    Das ist ja cool :) Ein Raumschiffsimulator wäre auch noch was feines. Aber das Dein Hubi sogar ohne Luft fliegt, das ist schon eine große technische Errungenschaft. Ein kleiner Schritt für Hueypilot, ein großer Schritt für die Simulatorwelt ;)

    Ich hatte mal früher mit großer Begeisterung an einem Mondlandesimulator Namens Lunar Lander gespielt, in simpler 2 D Grafik , In einem Spielesalon. Lunar_Lander_Artikelbild.jpg

    Es scheint aber mittlerweise wesentlich neuere Versionen zu geben. :S
