Will Australian scenery manufacturer Orbx now become a distribution platform for third-party flight simulator products as well? At least that's what you might think for a few days now. That's when the rather surprising news came that OrbxDirect will also offer MILVIZ products in the future. In the meantime, these are already listed here under Partners.
Buying MILVIZ products from Orbx is only worthwhile for new purchases
The biggest advantage is also highlighted relatively early in the corresponding announcement. So when you buy MILVIZ products through Orbx, you can enjoy all the benefits of Orbx Central. Currently available are the Bell 407, DHC-2 Beaver, DHC-3 Otter, the F-86F Sabre (also in the TacPac Edition), the Milviz 530F and the still quite new PC-6 Turbo-Porter. More products will follow in due course. Furthermore, Orbx does not currently offer license transfer from other shops, not even directly from the MILVIZ store. Accordingly, a purchase via OrbxDirect is currently only worthwhile for new purchases.
